Σκοπός της παρούσας διατριβής είναι η μελέτη του θεσμικού πλαισίου όσον αφορά το ζήτημα των παροχών υγείας στο ελληνικό κράτος πριν από τη δημιουργία του ΕΟΠΥΥ και η αξιολόγηση της αποτελεσματικότητας και της διαφάνειας με την ενοποίηση των ταμείων, δηλαδή με τη δημιουργία του . Η μελέτη επιτυγχάνεται με ιστορική αναδρομή του Ελληνικού συστήματος υγείας και εξετάζει 3 υποθέσεις εργασίας, δαπάνες υγείας, ποιότητα και διαφάνεια των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών με ποσοτική έρευνα 2 ερωτηματολογίων καθώς και με μία άλλη έρευνα, με κριτική ανασκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας όπου μελετήθηκαν οι 3 Υποθέσεις εργασίας και σε θεωρητικό πλαίσιο. The Greek Healthcare Service, From Its Establishment to the Present Day: Efficiency, Transparency and Shortages of the Unified Healthcare Service Organization

The purpose of the present thesis is the study of the institutional framework concerning the question of healthcare provision in the Greek state before the formation of EOPYY and the evaluation of the effectiveness and transparency achieved by the unification of the funds, in other words, by its formation. Initially, a historical flashback on the organisational structure of the health service in Greece was realised. The research of the given thesis was realised quantitatively and is about the increase or decrease of the health expenses, the quality and the transparency of the provided health services. It was conducted with the use of two original questionnaires. Another research was conducted concerning the three task cases, a theoretical research of secondary sources where all three task cases were studied on an academic basis. Copy abstract
