Η παρούσα διδακτορική διατριβή επικεντρώνεται στο έργο του ιερομόναχου Ιωαννικίου, σημαντικού αγιογράφου του 18ου αιώνα στην Κύπρο, και στην καλλιτεχνική παραγωγή του μεταβυζαντινού εργαστηρίου της Μόνης του Άγιου Ηρακλειδίου, της οποίας υπήρξε πρωτεργάτης.

This doctoral dissertation focuses on the work of the hieromonk, an important iconographer of the 18th century in Cyprus, and the artistic output of the post-Byzantine workshop of the Monastery of Saint Heracleides, of which he was a leading figure.
